I have a cabinet that I've used for a CFL grow, that I'm considering converting to HPS. I've got 3 CFL grows under my belt now and feel it may be time to make the switch. The cabinet I'm using measures 52"h x 20"d x 28"w usable space. I only grow 1 plant at a time, as it's just personal.
What would I need to put into that size cabinet, a 400w ballast? (or is that overkill?)
For reference my last CFL grow I used 2 huge 105w CFLs and a couple of normal 23w for spot coverage.
Would my current extraction fan that's rated for 265cfm be sufficient for a HPS setup in that cabinet?
Thanks for any input!
