What size pot for 3'x3'x6' plant

Like the title says, I want plants that are no more than, but as close to three feet wide and 6 feet tall as possible.
I plan on supper cropping, or at least topping twice during veg. and using supersoil. Plants will be transplanted into final sized pots around May first and grow outside until mid to late October.
I am thinking 15-20 gallon pots, but would like to hear from people that have more experience.
Thank you in advance,
G

Kinda depends how the plant wants to grow but id say your guess is pretty close. Id probably do a 20.

if your blooming at that point a 7 to a 10......bigger is overkill, unless it's an organic water only soil that's kinda weak.

I've grown 3x3 plants in 20 gallon pots with water only soil and it was exactly as @Dr. Who says, overkill. It was beautiful bud and I have no complaints, but I ended up going back down to 10 gallons and got the same results and less back strain. Even if you never move your plants throughout the grow, you still have to deal with the soil when its done.
