Okay, Now im proud to be a stoner.
I love smoking.
It brings out me and clears my mind.

How come everyone associates stoners with failure, slackers and bums in society.

lol now i understand the days were we just wanna " chill " and do nothing on the couch, i love those days but... I think that the stereotype is some bullshit.

I want to prove people wrong. I want to get high all day and get A's in school. Which is what i do. Be apart of Teams and Extracurriculars just to prove the stereotype wrong. Get a job and accomplish shit which is what im doing. Gah damnit... Im kinda fed up with the stereotype. People that dont know me like throw it in my face all the time.

But yeah, Its not just school... just how society sees you, family and some friends.

I mean i wont change for anyone, its who i am but. I just want to change how people see it. Alot of people are still stuck in the Reefermadness.

I just watched that movie today lol. funny shit right? I understand what you're talking about. if anything, I'm doing better in school. pot makes me clear my mind and helps my adhd. I actually pay attention more. I just think though that's something that's gonna make me smoke way more pot then I really want to. like a friend of mine in school who smokes all day everyday basically(no offense to you guys. I don't really mind if you're out of school and got your own home and smoke basically all day, but this kid is what makes stoners look bad. he takes it TOO far).

I notice that marijuana does keep me from performing optimally. I even have to stop during important times of my life because I know that it has caused me to fail classes, tests, and makes me less apt to want to do things that are important for my education progress. If I had found marijuana when I was in college or sooner, I can see how I might not have made anything of myself. I am grateful that I found weed "later" in my life at 24.

People in general are judgmental and dumb. Simply put, thats whats to blame for the sereotype. In additional to the retarded stoners that smoke shwag all day and act like morons to play up the stereotype.
Thats kinda why I love Colorado soooo much. Not everyone, but MOST people around here know the truth and have done away with that silly persona

It's not HARD to find them, they're everywhere.
They're just the guys that don't TALK about it to everyone.

I'm 20, I run my own business, have my own house... I didn't even go to college... I went to tech school.. I failed all my classes in high school, cheated on my final exams... Did half-ass work when I was in tech.

If ANYTHING weed made me more inspired to do what I love to do.. I work in the music industry for note. ;)

I have times where I get high and let myself go and act like a fool.
Then I have times where I keep it under control and do what needs to get done.
It all just depends I suppose.

The fact is that all the people who get retarded and make pot smokers look bad, would still all be idiots if they didn't smoke pot. Those are the people who are just stupid by nature or their up-bringing. My father has smoked pot since he was 15, he is a successful business man, accountant, and father, pot didn't make him any different,
