what time of day to top your plant?

Hi,

I'm about to top my first plant on my first grow. Should I do it at lights on in the morning or at lights off in the evening or does it even matter?

I cut mine just before the lights go out,I dont know if this is the best time or not but thats when I cut mine,mainly because its the best time for me to trim them up. goog luck

Didnt seem to matter to me as far as time. I do however push a pipe cleaner down the stem if it seems open after i cut it. Smaller diameter stems seal themselves well, but the big ones are like straws! If i top a biggun and dont close it up, seems the stem dries all the way to the next node down. Dont know if it matters, but screws and pipe cleaner doesnt hurt either. My advice. Top em whenver you want to.

iv just done it whenever and it always seems fine.
