What to do with waste after harvest?

What would be the safest way to getting rid of large amounts of stalks, roots, and other excessive garbage when throwing it away won't work? I thought about burying the stalks and roots, but then again, I only rent the house and I don't want a bunch of holes in the yard. Any ideas on how to stealthily get rid of grow room waste without catching unwanted attention?

I'll 5th that one. If thats not option for whatever reason I would bag it up, put it in a backpack and walk out into some state land and dump it out.
