So if the trichomes are nearly all amber on the lower buds would you harvest those buds and leave the upper buds to ripen more. Or do you wait for the other buds to mature, but what happens to those lower buds that were ready before the top ones, is it just the way it works and they are harvested a little past there best potential? Hows that work people...

you might cause shock and overstress the plant if you cut too much off...you can take the lower stuff off if you'd like but that is usually the stuff that is ready last. I wait until the plant is fully ready then hack the whole thing down...most of those left over white hairs will turn brown or red or whatever also as it is drying.

i look at the trichs in the middle of my plant about 8" from the top...when they are amber down it goes...yes some hairs/trichs will still be white when you chop but thats fine, they will change obviously...just give them a good cure and its all good.

Dude the bottom matured before the top thats all that happens all the time. Absolutely no worries, some people just harvest the bottom and let the top keep maturing and thats probably what Ill do this time with half my harvest.

Hey rexx can I interject on your post again, h2 or anyone, I hear some people say dont stress ur plant when flowering and I have heard some people who harvest some buds on the same plant before the rest is ready so what is peoples opinions on this, is it one of those personal preference things and it all works out either way, peace and love all...hope this is helpful to you rexx as well :)

Any stress that would be caused at this point is negligible in that he has a matter of days before he chops the whole thing and in theory may lead to more trics and quicker ripening in the top. Doing so before this may have a case for stress having a negative effect on growth. The plant's genetics will also be a factor as to how it responds.
