In aquariums vodka dosing is used to reduce nitrite levels in marine tanks.


I would imagine it might block or hinder the uptake of N in some form.

I'm an aquarium nerd too. Lol.

Its either nitrite or nitrate. I can't remember.

Might actually be nitrate NO4 that it reduces but I haven't tried it so I don't bother worrying about it. Lol.
