What would you do?

28inx55in tent. Already have a long mars sp300 watt. I'm either buying a 250 or a 350 qb288 rspec to add during flower. The mars is 44inx3in wide the qb is either 24 or 37 in long. The mars is right down the middle currently but will need to move it maybe 2-3 inches to the side. #1 I'd prefer the 250watt board because I can use later in a second smaller tent cuz it will fit. Plus it's cheaper.

#2 the 350 watt is longer so it will reach the width ends better. However both lights will need to be dimmed as I'd have 650w in 10.7sqft so 60watt a sqft. The 250w gives me 50watt sqft. Plus if the 250 can veg a 2x4 tent(slightly smaller) it can definitely flower 2.25x4.t tent if used in addition to the sp3000! Check the pics what do you think???

Honestly you already have enough light. I have added side lights to my 3x3 tent. I have 400watts up top and then 2x 240watt 4 cob bars on the sides. Needs to be dimmed a lot.

So you have 580 watts more than me in 2 sqft less but u think I have enough?

No I think you have plenty of top light. You can put more light up top. I did it for a while. But I still maxed out at the same wattage after dimming. Granted my PPFD was within 50pionts of its self at whatever distance. But it had no effect on yield or development of lower buds.

The same lights moved to the walls at about the bottom 1/3rd of the plant made a huge difference.

What I’m suggesting is possibly but two smaller lights and mount them on the end walls.

But to each their own.
