ive got a few lights that come on occasionally in my backyard, so im going to make a frame out of copper piping to hang a shade from. it will block the light from my grow area during night time(i will take the shade down in the mornings). im wondering if anyone has done something like this before, and has any suggestions on what to use. i was thinking maybe panda plastic, but idk

How bout 2 layers of black tarp? Then maybe spray paint both sides camo so they don't draw any attention in the early morning hours, depending on your neighbor situation.

http://www.orcagrowfilm.com/ Its a little bit pricey but it does not allow light to penetrate. Ive held it up to my 400w and cannot see through it at all! If your blocking a window you can take a conventional roll up shade and take off the shade part keeping the roller and cut the orca film to match the old shade. The film is extremely strong and i cannot rip it by hand...

Also copper is expensive lol, try using pvc its lighter and cheaper...

Use panda film ,doubled up and stuck together white side out and in for better light blockage.
