MH fo sho, way more lumens then fluros

personal preference. Lots of people like to veg using CFl's. Yes the MH will give off more lumens but you can get lots and lots of lumens using CFl's as well.

I've always been told metal halide as they give off a higher amount of lumen's.

but cfls are good if they suit you better. If you're not bothered about heat or money go for the the metal halides.

Yes MH ftw... Floro for seeds and fresh clones.

just thought i'd say that t5's are great for early veg and clones, but once the plants get so tall, i switch over to mh's as they have much better penetration than t5's..

True. Anywhere from 3000 - 5000 Lumes per plant is ideal. For CFl's People say the more the marrier. Just watch out for heat if using lots of lights

I personaly would say t-5 over MH
