I asked a similar question to this one before,
but it was more aimed at charting the genetics with a system similar to the Periodic Table.
After talking with some experienced breeders it became apparent
that there were too many variables to devise a working model.
Two of three forum members also misunderstood the post completely
and gave me some abuse about 'Don't know what Cheese is...?'.
What I'd like to know is where Cheese or Haze or Critical originate???
Certain adjectives are repeated over and over in the names of strains.
Is there a pattern to explain this?
HYPOTHETICAL EXAMPLE -
Would a SKUNK#1 X NORTHERN LIGHTS = CHEESE
SKUNK'#1/NORTHERN LIGHTS X CRITICAL + = CRITICAL CHEESE.
I just want to understand if the strain names have meaning?
Etymologically, Philologically, Semantically.....
Or has the advertising credo of STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE taken over
and the names are nothing more than something that a sellers feels will appeal to a 17 year old surfer
with an appetite for weed and the brains of a Red Snapper....???
"Dude....".
