What's more important when drying? Temp or humidity?

Been drying for 4 days with temps ranging from 75-85. Humidity at around 50% I know the temps are too hot, but, no AC at the moment.

I planned on doing for 7-10 days, but wondering if the high temps will speed that up. Tried to snap the smallest stem and it was all bendy, so, I don't think it's ready.

The answer is both temperature and humidity are equally important.

Temperature dictates the moisture holding capacity of the air.

For example, there is more water in the air at a temperature of 75 degrees and 60% humidity than 70 degrees and 60% humidity.

That being said, I like to dry in a temperature of 68-70 degrees with 55-60% humidity. It usually takes 3-5 days before dry to the touch and ready for the curing process.

You should just check on it a couple times a day - morning/night - let it hang till it feels dry to the touch on the outside, try snapping stems, bend a few buds back, etc..

Once you're comfortable with the dry, don't forget to cure it

Definitely going to cure. Buds feel dry to the touch but stems won't snap. I know I want the best of both but that's not an option at the moment. I could put it in the basement and get cooler temps with lower humidity.

That may help, but sounds like you're pretty close so might wait a little longer as is.. It's ok if it takes a bit longer, that wont hurt anything.. just don't let them get 'too' dry..
