Whats my problem?

hi 2 all,

this my second growth attempt, the first one was a total amateur trial and ended up as a failure,

after reading, watching and observing at this forum, i started my 2 second growth,

its been 26 days since they cracked seeds, from the very first day till day 25 lights were 24 hour, in the 23th day i moved my plants to the larger pots, and at the 25th day i started to give them 12/12 lights ( i want them to be small and i want to harvest them quick, thats why i started flovering period early.

now i think my plants have some problems, i have read a lot and i think this is a PH problem or photasium.

also when i transplant my plants to larger pots, i press the soil so hard for adding more soil, maybe this is the problem: roots can not have air.

now this is the 2nd day of flovering and the leaves looks so unhealty and some leaves have yellow tips.

can you please help me,how can i correct this problem.

i m using 6 cfl lights for 12 plants ( half of them will be thrown away after determination of sex, and then i think 6 bulbs will be enough for the other half)

btw: sorry about my english, and thank you all

I think you need more light, I don't believe that they are that bad looking, probably just want more light.

ok well im a new grower as well so take what i say w/ a grain of salt but i think you need to add a few more lights and move them closer like 2-3 inches away and the yellow tips sound like too much nutrients what kind of soil?

some look leggy, not enough light, dont like those peat pots, had problems with them, you should mix perlite in with your compost to make it drain more easy and dont over water. what seeds are you using?

ok, im gonna add some more bulbs, the soil is a standart potting soil ( pooting torf ), i bought from a garden store, the ph of the soil is 5,5 - 6,5 ( thats what written on the package) and i do not use any nutrients, actually i m trying to do same as the book "buds for less" ;-)

i dont know the strains of seed, i took them from a friend but i think these are sativas, i never over water them, and is it possible to change the soil ( add perlite to the mix) after this ponit?

yep if they havent rooted in the new soil i would add perlite, stops them gettin to wet and lets the roots breath, i think the roots grow quicker also.like someone above said they dont look to bad.

Yes, carefully, just be nice and gentle if you want to add perlite, just take them out, mix in some perlite, and put them back in. I also don't like the look of those peat pots, never used them, but I don't know.. Maybe I am biased.

peat pot fucked my plants up, im never using them again.
well i started my seedlings in those peat pots, and when the roots started to grow trough pot walls i transferred them to larger pots, now its impossible to get rid of them, but i m gonna try to add some perlite to the soil,
btw, how peat pots fucked your plants up? what is the bad effect?

thanks

I'd definitely add some perlite to the soil. Also, move the lights closer to the plants. Finally, put a small fan in there if you don't already have one. It looks like the stems are skinny and weak. Adding a fan will make them become thick and strong. I am just a little ahead of you in my first/second grow and my plants didn't grow for like 3 or 4 days after being transplanted. I think that is normal. I used a drop of superthrive when I watered them and it helped tremendously.

Did I read that you are not using nutes at all throughout the grow? Keep us updated, I'm interested to see how it turns out for you.

i think its so difficult to add perlite after this point, cause the roots already started to grow thrugh peat pot walls, thats why i transferred them to the larger pots,

and yes i m planing not to use any nutritiens, ( like the book "buds for less" ) but if it will be problem i may consider adding some, but not fertilezers, like u just some drop of vitamins, and i will keep u uptated.
