Here's my story...growroom almost / had a fire in it..
I have some plant pots in back room where IAM starting seeds
I went in there doing some maintenance, smoked a Joint.
Came back into the next room and sat down at my computer
and after a few minutes I could smell something....
I thought it was my computer getting HOT and the Dust within
making the smell...It got stronger, so I shut the computer off and got
down under the desk smelling around it..
Wasn't that...and I stood back up to sniff the smell out. My nose lead
me back into back and I was thinking it must be something to do with
my furnace . Smell was getting strong and was definately something
burning..
I opened the room and walked into a cloud of smoke....
One of the plant pots with old dry ProMix in it was aglow like the embers
of a firepit.. I grabbed the pot and thru it into a sink and rushed water
thru it..twice...
Thing was a hot glowing coal, 10" x 6" soil...but wasn't quite melting thru
the pot..
So, I come to find out about ......Wild Peat Moss fires, and how they burn
under the ground .
Whodathunk.... I always HAD, just flicked my ashes/coals into "Dirt" pots
when in viewing plants smokin' 1.. 20yrs...NEVER had a "FIRE"
NEVER AGAIN !!!
