Whats the best easiest way to make a cheap hydroponics system?

well for a long time i had always thought the DWC bucket or bubbler was the easiest , but a grower on here told me ebb and grow is the simplest system to grow plants in and it has less chance on breaking, but i think DWC is still cheaper,
