I never new how important it was to check PPM when growing! Actually I never heard about it! All I heard was, make sure room temp is 75, 18 hours light for veg, 12/12 for bloom, humidity 70% veg, 40% bloom, good air circulation, Water, fert, water and Check ph always. So I've noticed my plants getting yellowish with leaves burning and failing off. Then I came across people taking about ppm. Researched it and was like shit, bet that's my problem. Im on flowering stage. I use Floranova bloom, and humbolt Crystal burst and humbolt gravitation. Floranova recommends 15ml per gallon. Crystal burst recommends 5ml per gallon. Gravitation recommends 5ml per gallon. I put about 45ml floranova and 15 ml crystal and 15 ml gravitation in a 5 gallon. Didn't think that was overdoing it. Barely got a ppm meter today and checked my run off water. It was 3500 ppm!!! This is day 32 bloom also.

this is for HYDRO though. i don't know about soil
it is what william texier says and what i go by, when feeding:DSC02611.JPG
it says:
1.cuttings
2.young,rooted plants
3.vegetative stage
4.stage of flowering and fructification
5.final stage

so you should feed with 1,8. then go on with water.
