"The Fresh Maker" is a triple layer, high capacity, single pass charcoal filter.

These filters are efficient, durable and light-weight. They feature an inverted hose cone and vertical pleats for maximum filtered surface area.

Attach directly to your fan.

The Deau Passe Organic Air Charcoal Fiber is a line of super efficient, high capacity filters designed to remove particulate matter as well as odors and gases from air.

The Deau Passe line uses charcoal fiber filter elements that pack within the tiny pores on the surface, an amazing capacity to trap gases, particles and organisms.

Made from small-pore activated carbon, the charcoal fiber lays out a flattened surface area the size of a regular football field for every one gram of the material.

This filtering action is supplemented by the filter design with circumferential and vertical pleats in combination with the inverted nose cone that offers the largest fiber surface area of activated carbon you can get on the market.

The Organic Air Fresh Maker Filter by Deau Passe® will enable single pass filtration of strong odors at very high CFM's.

Freshmaker filters consist of three layers of highly active charcoal fiber with millions and millions of active micropores that attract and capture odors.

The filter is easily washed to keep the micro-pores clean and ready to absorb more odors.

They can be used with fans from 0-5000 CFM.

The highest rated filters with the largest surface area on the market, and at less than 1/2 the size of old traditional filters!

Filter Applications

Multi-layer, Single pass charcoal fiber filter, the ''Freshmaker'' line is designed for single pass filtration of strong odors. These filters enable air to be pushed and pulled through them. Typical applications include front or end of any exhaust line.

Cleaning Instructions-Remove filter and use a garden hose or shower nozzle to spray it down
-Spray off thoroughly from the inside and outside
-Shake out water and let dry
-Once dry reattach to fan using clamp

I have one of the 10" 0-5000 cfm "Fresh maker" filters for around $205 (shipping included) from Greentrees Hydroponics and I attached it to a Fantech FKD10XL 1266 cfm inline fan ($230 on ebay !) for 4 separate 3.8x3.8x6.5 rooms. I am using 4 600 watt 6" air cooled hoods and a direct 6" duct for ventilation from each room. I have attached a 6" adjustable iris to the ducting from (2) each air cooled hood's ducting. The rooms are right next to each other so two hoods are cooled from one duct on each side. They all connect to a sound proof box where the the filter and fan pull the air and purify it. These filters do work ! I do want to emphasize to clean them often, every 3 weeks or so. It is a single pass filter so you do want to ensure that it's as CLEAN as possible. Also on the 2 intakes I have the 8 in hepa filter also made by Deau Passe. This ensures that your fresh maker filter isn't cleaning impurities that aren't created in the room and will ensure your filter DOES work to it's full potential. The setup I have works great with a temp between 79 - 80 at canopy level at all times. I have read other negative reviews on the "Fresh Maker" and I have to wonder on how they have their ventilation setup.

Let me know of your experience with these if you decide to purchase one.

Thanks for the useful "inside" info on this filter cidburn. Tamerlane, I'm looking at this filter as well. Saw them at the local shop,
and was recommended by the owner(whose opinion I value). The fact that as long as you keep it clean, it works for years, makes it not just
useful, but thrifty. I'll more than likely pick one up next month. If you get one first, I'd love another "inside" POV.

All the Best,

Tamerlane, are you happy with that purchase? On a couple of other site's I saw some very mixed reviews. What I like is the size of them, sounds as though you'd need the pre-filter and the "Triple layer" on the other end. Did you ever buy the filters or did you get something else. Are you happy with the purchase if you did buy?

I have one of the 6" filters. Doesn't work all that well to be honest. I still needed to utilize Ona gel to cover up semi-stanky plants. I wish I didn't waste my money on it, and I'll never buy another one or recommend it to a person.

Get a real Carbon Filter and don't skimp.

Snow Crash, thanks for the information, thats what I've been seeing on IC also but then I wonder if people are buying the pre-cleaner and trying to use that. The Company is really stupid on their naming of the product, its very hard to figure out just what your buying, the pre filter and the carbon filter should be named entirely different as it is super confusing. Your comment is right in there with some on IC. There are also growers like "Cidbum" above who is happy with his purchase. I've written to the company even and complained about the naming of the product and said that I would buy if they had a money back guarantee, no answer.

I used to post as 2Lazy over at ICMag, but wound up having a terrible time there. I am fully convinced there is a group of growers there that espouse TERRIBLE information that winds up screwing growers so that they can sell their shit to people with failed grows.

Of all the places, ICMag is the least noob friendly, but even for myself it was a terrible experience. So terrible in fact that I deleted my account there. You can search me up any time and see why.

I've been banned at GrassCity like 4 times now. Once as 2Lazy, Once as Snow Crash, and again as 2LSC (the initials of the two). I can't figure out why, just the moderators have issues.

This place is a better community, better feel, but there are a lot of bad growers here. The sick plant forum is so sad. It takes people a week, and dozens of posts to get the right.

Glad I could be of assistance.

Snow, Thanks, I was about to get one until I saw there was a "scrubber" and filter... If anything, i it may work as a
supplement, but I wouldn't trust a grow to it. Thanks again for user input.
