Whats your average height for autoflowers?

I'm doing an experiment for a grow setup and i'm researching to see what is the average height of autoflowers. According to some of the breeders, there could be a broad range of heights in just one strain; for example the Amnesia Haze from Royal queen states that it can grow anywhere from 80cm-150cm, that's a difference of almost double the height. So my question to everyone is what has been your average height for autos in your experience and what strain if any has been consistent in its height? I realize height can change with pot size, light and overall care and ambient but in general, what has your experience been regarding height and autos?

thanks everyone,

AOG

My height never exceeded 3-4 ft because I LST. I’m sure if it didn’t the top cola would stretch pretty good, but I try my best to have as even of a canopy as possible.

Wow that's tall even with LST, she could've been 5 feet easy without it. What strain was this ? Or has this been with every auto for you?

Not compared to my photos that hit 6 ft easy! Doesn’t really matter what strain I grow, that’s about my typical height with my autos.

I had a dwc one that got huge but was listed as xl, I think white widow xl. I dunno I never finished it out it was taking forever and kinda just in the way in my veg room.

Boreal Lights get 10-11 feet when it has to compete for light or is in a small pot (3gal). 8' if it has elbow room.

The one on the far left is 6'

What in the flying F$%*!!! We're gonna need a bigger boat.... That's insane for an auto. Am I in the wrong to assume that auto would generally be shorter than photos?

That's some tall ladies brother. I usually top, lst and scrog, and with photos max height has been 3.5 ft. A rowdy kalashnikova that was underwhelming tbh.

Yeah I figure anything that has XL next to the name might be just as tall as a photo. Saw precisely some white widow XL the other day and it was a beast, huge colas and frosty af.

I don't really mess with autos much I wonder if it's too late to start some and put em outside, I haven't cared much for em inside but those you posted outside look nice.

Correct. They are usually shorter. In this case, BL might only get 8' when planted with room to move, but instead of a single spear, it has many short side branches.

Only 8!? :o Although it is reasonable to assume it would reach those heights, with the right genetics or not, considering the space it's roots have to grow. That goes to show the role of having room for the roots to grow plays in the overall size of the plant; auto or photo or whatever; if there's enough room to grow massive roots you'll have a massive plant. The only limiting factor would be the time it has to go from veg to flower to harvest, and of course how it's cared for.

Damn.... that's a nice plant.
I left that one alone and topped the other two with LST, I'm thinking now I should have just left them all alone,

She's beautiful bro. Are you going to let her grow as is or will you be doing any sort of lst ? She shouldn't stretch much more once she start to flower IMO.
Thanks, all very new to growing but I'm enjoying the experience, biobiz light mix, bio nutes, under a sf4000.

Don't top autos. My tallest was just over 6' a Fast Buds I think, 2 fast 2 cash or something like that. Its been a while. For the last 4 or 5 yrs I LST all of mine and they are usually 4' max. Strain doesn't matter. :bigjoint:

2 fast for buds lol heres some of my autos I got them up to 3 feet so far in 3 gallon pots I think alot has to do with experience you get better in my experience so far hydro is a lot easier you check yousr ppms and ph soil has alot of guesswork but is more rewarding when you overcome the challenges in the end and you find the sweet spot
