whats your harvest window?

Im on week 6 of jack the ripper and 3D... Im noticing about 50/50 clear to cloudy trichs, and the JTR has just very few ambers in the mix...ive always chopped at like 20% amber but think i should let the amber go to about 30-40%? I want a heavy stone

The TGA site says JTR window is day 49-56 and 3D is day 45-55...Im on day 43 and its water day with RO water and some cal/mag...After today should i start just going with plain water or in 4days feed once more?

i do have foxfarms sledgehammer so i could feed once more then give a good flush with sledge and try to sneak in one more plain water before cut?

Personally Id feed this week and flush next week, go for the full 8 weeks unless your eyes tell you something different.
There is very little to lose and tons to gain by going over instead of under.
Without actuall JTR experience though its just my opinion.

I chop on planed date if not a week later.
'Last feed' I call it right before i use plain PH'd water.
I go light, knowing theres some in the plant still, sugar cane sometimes.

I just chopped my JTR today at day 70 (soylent green pheno). It seemed to be just about right. Calyxes were swollen, most pistils were reddish and the trichs were mostly cloudy with 30% amber. I found a lone nanner when trimming (usually an indicater of ripeness). The resin and lemon odor was super intense. I wish I would have had grown more clones. There is no harm in letting it go longer than the strain description states, they tend to understate the flowering time. TGA strains are amazing! Good luck with your JTR and 3D.

I take the Pink Lemonade pheno of the Ripper @ 63 days. Thumping stone, very potent medicine. Swollen calyxes and 5%-75%-20% Clear-Cloudy-Amber.

jtrbushes, i like your break down 5%-75%-20%, how do you honestly come up with numbers like those? Do you take a little bud and put it under the microscope ? Like come on ther is over a million trichomes on a JTR Plant and i truly do not believe that you could guesstimate to that precision, i just cant understand how people come up with these numbers.
I usually take TGA strains 9 wks , all depends on what you are looking for.
