Debating about soil with someone and they told me

Doesnt matter how the plant grows (insert soil brand here) just as long as the buds are good.

If I could stick a seed and miracle grow and get some rope, than I would call it a success. lol, I think this is what you're asking?

You could probably grow some decent weed in sand or gravel if you fed it right. That said, I have been doing some experimenting with FoxFarm Ocean Forest, Happy Frog and plain ProMix. I have done mixtures of them and each product alone. All fed the same, however. I can see no discernable difference among the plants. All very healthy and robust.

I agree, if the end result is good, then why does it matter how it got that way? Unless you only consume organics it shouldnt matter, good shit is good shit regardless
