Whch strains have this characteristic?

that means it's too cold, but i don't think you mean hairs on you sprouts cause that wouldn't make any sense. but yea the purple on your stems is from the cold most probably

I think a lot of strains can have those characteristics. Im pretty sure all of them have really small white hair looking things and I have sprouted both big bud and jock horror that had purplish-red stems. Ive only grown out five strains so that coloration is probably pretty common.

yeah i was reading the grow faq and it was saying something about deficiencies. I'm pretty sure thats not it though. The faq also stated that reddish stems are common in various strains. Its to early to tell if the girls are indy or tivas as the sprouts are going on day 3. By the way the seeds are from Canada. Not from a specific seed bank but, from someone who's into breeding. I smoked the herb that the seeds came from it was probably some type of hybrid. My peeps had no name for it because, they're not into strains just yet, it was "dro," though. The herb was a very light green with some pale lavender strands it kind of reminds me of some white rhino i had in '05.
