When can I flower?

Hi this is my first post on this page. My plants are 1 month & 1 week old from seed. About 3 weeks into veg. I have them in a 36"x20"x62" tent. Using about 88 watts of CFLs with a total of about 6,000 lumens. I've been low stress training them and I wanted to know when I should flower with this size tent. Thank you.

You can flower them any time you want to. However, for more yield it would be better to leave them a few weeks longer.
Nice compact indicas you have there...whatever size they are when you put them into flower, they'll be nearly twice that by the time they finish (:

I have the same tent but I am using 400w HID w/cool tube. Light is about 1.5ft from canopy. I say this not too say "Mine is better than yours", no arrogance intended. They look great for being grown under cfl. You can go 12/12 anytime you want as sworth said. But, you may want to get a better light source if you want max yield. If this were my grow I would upgrade to at least 250w HID, do a SCroG and let them go another 4-6 weeks before 12/12

But as I said, this is what I would do, not necessarily what you should do. At the end of the day it is YOUR grow.

Good Luck and Great Growz

For a non-auto plant grown from seed, you should allow the plant to grow to sexual maturity before you begin the flower cycle. However, it will "work" if you begin the flower cycle sooner, but it's not the way mother nature designed it to work. Bigger, sexually mature plants will yield more.

Clones taken from a sexually mature mother can be flowered as soon as they take root.

My advice is to be patient and wait for sexual maturity.
