"A
fertilizer or
fertiliser (in British English) is any material of natural or synthetic origin (other than
liming materials) that is applied to soils or to plant tissues (usually leaves) to supply one or more
plant nutrients essential to the growth of
plants."
Here this might help:
Go buy yourself a EC and Ph meter to track your shit.
According to the graph, you should slowly add nutrients to your water about around 2 weeks before you flower depeding on what medium you are using (EC= electrical conductivity, which is a measure of nute concentration in your water). Most soil come fertilized (have nutrientes in them) which means you will not need to add nutrients as soon or as much (again depending on your medium).
I can't tell you how much of what to give you plant and how often. A lot of this is trial and error, you need to try it yourself and see how things go. When you start giving additional nutrients through your water, make sure to look out for symptoms of nutrient burn which will tell you if you are over doing things.

PS: maybe post a pic of your plant and we can maybe help more.
Hope this helped a bit <3
