When do I plant my outdoor?

I live in Oregon (portland area) I know when to crop outdoor (mid sep - early oct) But when do I put my plants in the ground? Do I veg em inside than put them outside right when I start to bloom them? Sorry these seem like stupid questions. Any input is much appreciated :weed:

Here is a even more stupid question. How do I get my profile pic next to my name like everyone elses? Like when I post threads I want my pic next to Steady 1

It would be a good idea to veg them before you put them out. The longer you veg the bigger they'll be. Them put them out after you are sure you won't get any more frost. Then they'll continue to veg until the days get short enough for them to start flowering. If you start them now now you'll have plants that are good and strong and ready to go in the ground. Then they'll have a little while to get set in the ground before they flower.

To get the pic by your name. Go to your 'my rollitup' page and click on 'edit avatar' in the menu on the left of your screen.

Steady 1, I was glad to see you ask that question about outdoor planting in Portland. I am in Randle, Wa. about 100 miles north of you, and wanting to get some plants outside. The weather is getting tempting but may get frost til mid March. Won't be long. Drop me a PM we'll compare notes.
