When do I start ?

Hello, I bought all the stuff I needed to start growing, but I'm waiting for the seeds (should be within 10 days).
I now have some worries about the time before curring. I'm going to grow White Widow which take around 8weeks in flowering 2 in growing and 1 week to germinate (correct me if I'm wrong) and then 2 or 3 for drying and curring, so a total of 13 weeks.
The fact is that I have exactly 89 days until December 24th (I need to go home for at least 1 week), will this be enough if I start growing next week (around september 25th) ?

If I do some topping will it take more time ?
I know there is no universal answer to that question but what do you think about it ?

The main issue is not to get weed fast (I'm not in a hurry) but the fact that if it takes to much time I won't have the choice but to let them alone for one week (it's not an issue if it is during drying but a it's if this week is during the final period of flowering I think).

Flower times are not dead on accurate. Never are. Just got to play it out and see. I wouldnt consider anything till its close to happening, shit can always go wrong. js

I doubt you will be finished before your projected date. My suggestion is that when you leave for your week vacation, you give them a very thorough watering right before you leave and they should be fine and ready to be watered upon your return. I just don't see you having enough time as I think you can add at least a week for germinating/vegging and at least a week for flowering.

I think you will be gravy based on your 3 week veg-21 days + 8 week flower-56 days plus 3-7 days drying. If you want though you could also just let them run and harvest the day before you leave for vacation and let them dry during your 7 day vacation.

Well i will not add any more matter that is already been added cause they pretty much said it all , but even in flowering leaving your girls for a week in that stage its not a big deal it would be worst in vegetative... at that stage you dont need to move your lights , the rest is pretty much automatic i think , the only thing you need to care about is watering , but there is pretty cheap automatic solutions that can cover your for one week , i know your plants will probably not be use to be watered with dripping system or so but i can ensure you that it will not harm at all your plant or influence any yeild or quality if done right.

PS: Just let your plant grow at her normal rate and not by some calendar , you have to do your vegetative "size" not "time" acording to your growroom and light , so you can have the most return from your plant.
