When Do Trichomes Start To Form?

I'm in about week 2 of flower and I just got my jewelers loop. Can't find any trichomes yet despite there being 100+ bud sites in total. Growing Dinafem Critical auto and Royal Dwarf Auto

When do they start getting frosty?

In the next cpl weeks. They will be visable to the naked eye
