When Good Threads go Bad

And only for one reason, stupid and sutpider, then more stupiderism.

Since threads can be moved...... Yes, it has even happened me. :) ....then can be moved and not closed.

I suggest a time honored internet artifact called JUNK. And the JUNK section can have moderators I can name. Their job is to keep it strictly JUNK and HATE and SPEW.

It is like when my dad would say OK!!!! And then he would not let my brother, young but bigger, and I, stop fighting. He would referee and keep it clean, push the top guy off, make us stand to scratch, etc until we didn't want to any more.

Then we had to hug each other and say we are family, until he said to stop.

Don't close the arguments, throw them in the JUNK pile. No one gets hurt. It you follow the thread to junk, fine, we all will just laugh.

OH PLEASE!!! Mr Bill, don't move my thread to Politics!!!! I beg you. :)

Hahahahehehe,

I think that the vast majority here at RIU already consider the Politics forum to be a steaming, reeking pile of rubbish.
They avoid it like an open cesspool.

I like Doers suggestion anyway.

Lol, I don't post too often in the politics section, but I tend to read most of the threads for sheer entertainment.. :D

Maybe there could be a section for personal vendettas as well as viscous, vituperative, venomous diatribes and general ad hominems.

Sort of like a caged mud wrestling section.

Well, that is Politics !
Have you ever seen Question Period from Canada or Britain?
They're just as dysfunctional as this forum, the only difference is protocol and the fact these jokers (MPs) get paid to be assholes.

You, Sir, are correct.

It can't be fixed.
and here we go:

we should demolish all social forms and replace them with NOTHING!
and of course in the chaotic aftermath of Full Somalia Anarchy, somebody will step forward and boldly provide a solution...

and naturally that solution will be exactly what AC thinks is best, whatever that closely held secret might be.

Wow, that is worst, between the line reading I have ever seen.

You got all that from 4 words, and no lines to read between? Just 3 little spaces for all that?

Aren't you just acting like a grudge and hate filled person? That was why I suggested a Junk forum section as a place to move meaningless spew and mean-spirited spit back. Then we would get to laugh at the ones that wanted to fling themselves into it.

I took ABCs comment to mean, forum immaturity can't be fixed.

And you just proved his point, seems to me. HA ha.

I have a feeling Miss KKKynes enjoys talking to just hear herself speak. Engaging in a conversation with her would be utter torture. I bet she would talk to you even if you were wearing headphones...connected to an ipod...with the music playing...naked. She would lament about a juxtaposed society riled in angst or some bullshit.

i just went round and round with AC and his nebulous non-definition of "anarcho-_______ism" yesterday.

he speaks in one-liners, quips, bumperstickers and slogans deliberately, but once you've seen his playbook his agenda becomes apparent, though not clear.

like an abstract portrait made up of random words, when taken as a whole his tiny snippets of language create a unified design, which while not long on details, does provide a recognizable sketch:
