I've read so much about NL autos. A lot of people say they dont get many amber trichs..? She is 3 days from being 9wk from sprout. Buds are DENSE. I would say around 60-70% orange hairs. I read 9-11wk from sprout is when should be harvested.

Here are some pictures. Has anyone grown NLA?
this is my first auto so I am very unsure after everything I've read.

Checked trichs yesterday almost ALL milky. And hardly ANY amber. 20201112_183153.jpg20201112_182715.jpg16052436882734560679306853784123.jpg16052437135926984957410686729833.jpg

she can go a bit longer, my nl auto went 11 weeks. but i cant help with amber or not ready as i harvest by brown/white hairs 50/50 but with the auto 80/20 when cut down

I'd ditch any reference to harvest times from breeders. That plant probably won't be ready until about week 12.
Okay cool. I'm just having a hard time finding definitive specifications as to when to harvest autos. Obviously this being my first auto my mindset is go by trichomes. Then I read other NLA grow journals and they say at 11wk hardly any amber. So im like wtf man

the plant will tell you when to harvest , my own plant has just finished week 12, patience. there is no such thing as definitive time frame.

Autos are no different than photo period plants other than that flowering is triggered by genetics instead of light schedule.

I treat mine identical to photo period plants in that I transplant them, LST, super crop, and harvest them based on when they show signs they are ready for harvest and not by a specific week or timeline. I've had two autos accidentally topped while doing LST. First one turned out great in the end and the second one I have going now is gorgeous too.

Man I topped this NLA better than any other plant so far. Ended up getting 4.5 colas from it lol

what do you reckon, does anyone see a little amber or is it just me. milky plant still a couple of weeks behind. what do you guys think. super skunk auto. day 93, but to be honest im lucky they made it this far with the abuse and lack of watering i gave them, its my first grow, Milky had to be transplanted 4 weeks ago because of soil ph issues and i dont really want to cut down early having gone this far with an auto.

Its time. I would chop right now. Or go a little longer if you want more amber.

I see white pistils in there. A picture of the whole plant would help, but at 93 days it's probably very close or ready.
