When should i harvest??

Right now, i KNOW that some of my plants need to come out of the ground if I want milky trichomes, yet the hairs are still dominantly white on the buds. Should i wait, cut now do it in parts....?

Id give it 90-10 white to orange hairs right now

The majority of your hairs are still white, so I'd say those girls are still pushin; the last one is definitely getting close though. You're looking for about 75% brown hairs and a honey golden tint to the trichomes. Looks to me like you're still getting good thc formation, but once they start to turn they'll degrade pretty fast. Take em before all your hairs start to brown up, but not before the triches turn. Its a tough decision to make, but I think guys tend to wait too long more often than cutting early. I'd say you've got about a 4-7 days to go, maybe a little sooner on that last one. Of course, you don't have to cut them all at the same time. Now, if these are outdoors it changes things a little. You don't wanna let em sit in the rain for a long time right before you cut, so look for window of good weather. But you also dont wanna leave em out there to get snatched - seen it happen a number of times to the least expecting growers. hope this helps a little bit.

I'm going to repeat myself again.

You _cannot_ determine maturity by the pistils (hairs as you call them).
I have seen strains with 100% milky trichomes and white hairs.

You need to determine what your trichomes look like (use a microscope).

What you are describing as far as the stage of you plants matches mine. I have been flowering for 6 weeks in the picture below, and I have very few orange hairs. I'm planning on at least two more weeks, possibly three... At this point I haven't seen any sign of milky trichomes. I'm trying to narrow down the same question. I took the picture here w/ a piece of shit HP Photosmart camera while holding a loupe magnifier in front of it. it's easier to see than trying to use a microscope.

I'm trying to determine 1 week before harvest to s tart the final phase of the technoflora recipe for success. Any pointers from anyone?

They look mostly clear to me, not hard to determine really check the tinting from the background through the trichs no change in hue. When you have white trichs they are noticeable if you have been around plants for awhile. The only way to know is with a scope and check, check regularly until they are finished. Doing this will help you watch for the subtle changes in the hues and tones of the bud and after awhile you tell where you are at. Of course that being said if you are always changing strains you are going to have more problems.
Hairs on your pistils especially growing outside should not be used in any manner for maturity. There are just too many factors which can affect their color and current health, but they will put out new growth. My Lady Canes would go through stages after their midway point and some days would be all nice and white and the next few mostly red, followed by more white hairs. Growing plants of any type just are going to take time to understand how they grow and react to different stimuli.
Last thing have to agree it looks like at least another 3 and more than likely 4 or a bit more. Good Luck with her she looks good
