1 month for FF OF soil and feed nutes every other watering after that(be sure to start out and 1/4 to 1/2 dosage when feeding nutes early on to prevent burning)

Does that apply when you transplant them into bigger pots since the new soil will have nutes already?

You should check out my latest grow by clicking on my signature link. I am using Ocean Forest with the complete line of FoxFarms nutes. I roughly follow the FoxFarms feeding schedule, with some adjustments and tweaks. I gave my plants ph-balanced RO water with SuperThrive and Hygrozyme for the first 3 weeks from seed. Then I added GrowBig and BigBloom at a 1/2 strength concentration at every watering. I maintained that schedule for 3 more weeks before flushing and leaching my soil, and beginning the flowering phase.

how do you even apply nutes? Do you mix all the nutes your using in a gallon of water and after that how much water do you give your plants? Say after a month they can only be...what?....8 inches tall? I never know how much to water so i just wait till the moisture meter says "dry" then i get it to "moist"

not sure how to feed nutes though.

I apply nutes at every watering which, for me, is once every 4 days. You can feed them at every other watering if you want, but I've always found it more effective to feed at every watering. Just make sure you keep a light concentration. You can always increase the strength if your plants show deficiencies. My plants are in 3gal containers and they get 1gal of nutrient solution every 4 days. Generally speaking, you want to heavily water them, then wait until the soil is almost completely dry before watering again.

^^Same here, light dose every watering^^
I use FFOF as well, with the three trio pack
My plants have shown no deficiency whatsoever, and they seem to love it.
U can check my grow out too if you dont believe us

I beleive you both lol. How big is your plants if your feeding it a gallon of water.

I cant even see that working out. All i can see is my box being flooded with a whole lot of water. Do you litterelly pour in a whole gallon and then forget about it?

I also use FFOF with some extra, hand mixed Perlite.

Well like I said, my containers are 3gal so when the soil is allowed to thoroughly dry out, it retains most of the water I give it. I usually have a few pints of run-off, but I have drains in my floor so it's not an issue for me. I slowly pour the water into the soil so that it can absorb evenly and not just run out the bottom, but yes, I pour on the water until the whole gallon is gone, then I move onto the next plant.

well i used to water my plants every day and i didnt have them in pots, they were strait into the ground after about 2-4 weeks in small pots... they seemed to like the ground better then the pots(more room for rooting) but i used to give about a half gallon every day to them then every 3 days just reg water just so i dont burn them out... there are plenty of effective methods out there
