when to flower

Hey guys,

Quick question, when do I start to flower? I was told 40 days for veg and 40 days for flower .. can I veg longer? I assume the longer you veg, the bigger the plant?

yeah you can switch to 12-12. Some people go 12-12 from seed. But you want to flower her longer than 40 days. like 60 to 65 but it all depends on your strain and setup.

Right now I have a 4x2x ft tent with 4 150w cfls... on one plant...I believe what I'm growing is c99... so I veg for 40 days then I flower for 65?

you can veg as long as you want.Depends on what kinda high you want. milky trichomes is more of a energetic high and amber thichomes is more of a couch lock high.I shoot for 50/50

get a jewelers magnifying glass off ebay for like 5 bucks

Yeah I got one... idk anything about this strain, I'm looking to grow a rather large plant. I Assume the larger the plant, the more area from buds to grow. I also have some citrus sansi that I got for free which I'm looking forward to as well.

what size pots are u using?

I just transplanted into a 1g pot. I have a 5g which I plan on transplanting it to once it's nice and strong

4 , 150watt cfls ? bro why not just get an apollo 180w LED works wonders and its what im using for c99 from g13 labs. Plus its better efficiency, and you can flower and use for veg

Yes, the longer you veg the bigger the plant. 8sq ft for 1 plant is a lot of room. It will take considerably more than 40 days to fill it. Look at Topping, SCROG, LST, Supercrop etc. for maximum use of your space.

Good dirt is a must, I recommend something that says something like "professional growing substrate".

When to flip? These pics were taken 8 days apart, I had just fliped to 12/12 in the secon pic.

The 6 plants are now taking up 4sq ft each, the tallest is 4ft, and the canopy is at just over 3ft.
