When to Harvest? Pics included!

Hello I am new here and am working on my first grow. I just started my 8th week of flowering and am not sure when to harvest. I have a couple of pictures attached. Can any of you guys help me out?!!

IF that were my 8th week I would cut them down and throw them away!!! Mine are the size of a mans forearm and all solid bud by 52 days as were 5 of the strains I have grown. If you have a sativa dominant strain you might want to find another one. Seen it in one free bean that was a tall lanky piece of shit and it was like 80 days and still like yours. Guess what I did.... I cut it down and threw it away.. You either have that issue or you suck at this sport. Sorry if you are sensitive and want to cry now but it is just a friendly statement of the facts. GL and get an indica maybe akxskunk or ak47.. Trust me it is not ever going to get better sweets.

Start flushing and wait at least 4-5 weeks. Those pics shouldn't be 8 weeks, they're like 3-4 weeks.

What have you been doing?

Showing them a picture of the sun?
Using a torch?

Lol sorry for the harsh comments but I would be pissed if that was my plant at 8 weeks of flowering.




This is what 8 weeks of flowering produces under 600w with decent nutes.

Like all the original posters have said, you obviously havent given them enough light, thats how my plants look after about 2 weeks into flowering. What type of light are you using?

I am currently using 3 cfl what use to be aerogarden lights I am actually going to buy a 600w MH and HPS after this grow.

I have a couple more cfl should I use those in addition to the 3 aerogarden lights I'm already using?

Like some of the other posters have said, the plants should be much more developed by 8 weeks. If I were you, I would probably order some seeds for my next grow right now, and go ahead and get that 600w light ordered. In the meantime, add the extra cfls you have to your current grow, and ride it out for another 2 weeks. I don't think I'd waste my time past 10 weeks (max) if they haven't gotten much chunkier than they are now. The longer you wait, the longer it is until you can start growing some big ass buds. If you can buy seeds or clones locally, I would scrap this grow immediately, and start a new one tomorrow. You don't need the 600w for the first few weeks of the next grow anyway, especially if you have to germ seeds, etc...You're not going to yield much on this grow, at all, and the quality is going to be questionable at best. That said, I've found that the people on this site are generally helpful, there's an unlimited quantity of grow info to read and learn from, and you'll get better over time.

But yeah, try to get that next grow started as quickly as possible, and in the meantime add whatever lights you can.

Yea, those three cfls are definitely not enough, I say add whatever you can as soon as possible!

When you get the 600w, get a high quality digital ballast, a reflector (possibly a cooltube), and then all you need are the separate HPS and MH bulbs. Get high quality bulbs from a good manufacturer as well, like hortilux or ushio.

Sorry bro but it is to late for this grow. I know this is not timely but I wondered wtf an "aerogarden light" is?? A light is a light and I have never heard of that.. Think u are just new and need more time. Try reading a bit. You got through 8th grade without having to I know but this is college level botany and u will need to be able to count with numbers and read words. A B C D E F P, X Y J K M N L O Si', XYZ G.. Or something like that.. Again what the f is an Aerogarden light?? If I put a light over a rose bush is it a rose light?? Good guess I am guessing....

Bro they are shiteeee week 8... My girls are more progressed at week 2 than that.. top colas should be 10 cm easily in my , case they look burnt to Fuck off the light any ways

An aero garden is a small window sill sized garden usually for used for herbs it has a small hood over the top of it holding cfl's, some ppl use them for growing weed but it usually out grows the aerogarden FAST!. He has obviously stripped the lights out of it to use.

youll find when someone has a good grow they tend to be full of themselves, i've only been growing for two seasons now but the one thing that seems familiar with this site besides its good information is alot of hot air comming out of these weed growers. you made it past the veg state without killing them. thats a good bench mark now its time to focus on what u did during that time and how you can make it better. Thomas eddison once said when asked about his invention the light bulb A/c power " I didn't fail at making it I just found over 1000 ways not to make it" might first buds where not even as wide as a quarter. good luck man.
