when to start final flush Help

Hi guys this my second grow first grow had pulk early due to real estate inspection iam having trouble understanding when to start my final 10 day flush I been looking at trichomes and just today started to notice that they r about 1% cloudy how much longer till they will be about 30% amber and when should I began to flush system plz help iam doing a scrog buds r starting to fall over from weight and thought about tying em up right now they kinda just leaning on ea other iam using a 400 hps plz help

As for when to start flushing, it depends really, how far are you into flower? What strains? - Hazes for example take longer, so you would wait longer to flush. Pictures would also help allot. Personally I start flushing about about 2 weeks before harvest (depending on soil or coco) but I know my plants well enough to know when they will be ready.

Def stake ur plants they will only get heavier. Ur in hydro? Then I guess two weeks sou ds about right as Jester said. Soil growers don't really need to flush. Although some soil growers do anyway. But it's not necessary. 30% amber is gonna leave you with some pretty nasty tasting buds. Try for 1-5% amber. And 100% cloudy.

whats the differences between coco and soil with flushing?
i`m using coco and would like to know the tips, when is the best time, amount of water (10Liter pot)

Well, with Coco, it does not hold the nutes like soil does, so flushing too early can result in less yield and potency (in my experience), so a week or so before harvest is good. With soil, 10-14 days is what I have tried with good results, hell even a weeks worth of flushing works.

I don't always flush my soil plants, just depends on were it's going in the end. If it's all mine, I could care less, I don't notice any difference if I flush or not - but I almost always flush my coco, whether it's mine or not.

When I do flush I just water with clean ph'd water. My normal dose that I give per plant - for me it's just under 1 gallon per plant depending, again on soil or coco and pot size.

flushing only correlates to grower error.. do you have a nute lockout, high ec/ppm, excess water soluble salts and such?..
same goes for watering with plain water, obviously uptake slows later in life and you can reduce nutes. but unless you overfed which hurts the cure its not productive
flushing does not improve properly grown herb and no medium is supposed to be flushed.

so if you are flushing just to flush. I suggest you stop.

See, now that's my thinking on the topic. But some of my clients say they can tell so I do it to make them happy. Personally I don't notice any difference in taste. Potency, yes, but that's most likely just me. I smoked some lemon haze the other night, hardly anything, the next night I was blazed. Hit n' miss I guess.

Tell them it is flushed even if it wasn't, I bet they'd agree that it is. Placebo effect

Yes!

If I had a dollar for every gallon of water wasted in a pre harvest flush....

Start your flush 2 weeks from finish, and make sure your water has a correct ph..if you want a good taste and your growing a primo strain you need to flush. Otherwise you can get that chemical or chlorophyl taste.
