when to start seeds and clones?

I live in nor cal and i want to get a head start this year. I have seeds and am going to get some clone for a outdoor grow. My plan is to put them outside in a GH a few months early with a little bit of supplemental lighting but when should i put them out there to have them ready for may.

I'm in norcal...i put some out in march last year...they dont grow too fast as the nights were cold....and you will need extra lighting...google work string light

So what if i put them inside a greenhouse for those cold 3 months before may to keep them warm with some metal halides in there or something and i will google that right now

I am starting them indoors to get clones, then growing the clones and sticking them out in late march.
Worked out well last year, however it was not as wet as it is this year in cali. Or as cold for that matter. I shall look over the weather when its closer to my time and go from there. If it works out well they will all be in the ground around mid - late march.

That sounds like a good plan. ya it has been cold and wet this year.

Where I live, most the low area are still flooded. Some spots 4 - 6 feet deep. I am finding cows and goats all over the place. Its STILL a fuck hole. We still have flood signs all over the area.

Same here.. IN Cen Valley Ca.. temp this am a nice balmy 32 here last few days... frozen water out by the bird feeder and all... but I have 4 plants outside doing lovely in a 15$ G.H

will take clones for my fall harvest + toss some more seeds out around feb
