i'm unsure as to when i should begin topping my plant. i couldn't even really find too much on it, so if someone can post me a link or just give some advice. my plants are still vegging, but i'm not sure if i should top them because then i could be getting more light exposure since i'm using floro tubes. here's what they look like now...any suggestions on when i should do it...and HOW to do it?

sorry i'm such a noob...i hope that someone can help.

this is the only picture i have from TODAY on my computer. i have more pictures in my grow journal which i'll try to get a link to.

thanks in advance everyone.

now is a good time to top.
i usually do it fairly early, when its got its 4th node.
the reason for doing it that early is to allow longer vegetative growth after topping.
to allow the 2 new tops to fully develop.

so how does one top the plant? i read somewhere that you cut the two things at the top, but i really don't understand what i'm doing and don't want to mess things up...any way someone could walk me through this?

start at the very top / highest point of the plant and follow it down to the first intersection you come to and cut it about 1/8th of an inch above that towards the top of the plant
