When to transplant?

I have 5 seedling in seperate pots. They are in 6x4in pots. Right now they are 2 days old from seed. Once they're ready to transplant I will be moving them to my spot where they will join their older sisters.

My question is how long should I wait to transplant? I waited a month for the other girls and they were way over due.

It all depends on the size of the pot you are using now...
Figure for the first month of growth the root ball will go as deep as the plant is tall.. So if you are using a 4 inch pot and the plant is over 4 inches tall.. time to move up...
I typically go from a 1/2 gallon container to 5 gallons after about 3-4 weeks like DB mentioned above... Such a growth boost as roots get more room to explore
I like to load up the 5 gallon buckets with 1/4 coco coir, 1/4 fox farms ocean forest, 1/4 perlite, 1/4 recycled mix (1/2 recycle, 1/2 volcanic clay)....
then mix in some nitrogen rich guana and some mycorrihizae...

Make sure that you soak those babies in B1 (superthrive) for 15-20 minutes before transplanting to reduce shock..

Thanks for the info. I will be transplanting straight to the ground so I will do that in the next 3 weeks.

My other girls I waited alittle over a month before transplanting and when I turned the pot over the roots were overlaping the bottom of it.
