When will i flower?

its my first year growing weed outdoors and ive been toking a long time and im starting to get concerned about my plants. they are huge sativa plants (from my point of view they are huge [4ft]) and i was wondering when will they start to flower its the beginning of august and i live in ontario, canada and it starts to snow here really early, around the beginning of oct even sometimes. I guess what im asking is will my plants have enough time to flower and finish, and when will they start to flower.


by the way the sun rises at 6:07am and sets at 20:48pm

I live in northern Michigan, I saw one of my first hairs last night, so I would assume yours would be starting anytime also!

I've had preflowers for like 3 weeks now.. No signs of full out flower yet. However I haven't checked on them in about a week. Can wait for tomorrow:0

im here in canada as well and i have plants that are budding now and i have others that havnt a single of bud in sight...i would say to look at the stain your growing and read up about it..plants in my expearences like to bud when ya least expect it,,like one week zippo, and next week you look bammm buds all over...so what in saying is hang in there boss and YOUR BUDS WILL COME..

should be seeing preflowers anytime now prolly within the next 2 weeks

all great answers thanks but does anyone know if my plants will be ready before october the 1st atleast because up here in canada the snow tends to come fast

Well Mr.Cannabis, since you said you live in Canada your days get shorter and your cold weather sets in earlier than people farther south so that will pose a threat. You said your growing Sativa plants which typically take longer to flower than an Indica or even Indica-Sativa mix, in my opinion that far up depending on the strain you'd need until at least mid October to late November. Your plants will start to flower but you'll probably have to chop em before they reach their full potential. Sorry my friend.
