when will i know when to harvest, when do i know the plants ready

I'm a noob n have so far been successful , IM 7 DAYS into flowering n now I have to learn n know when the plant is ready,and also need to learn what to exactly do when she is ready , its my first grow give or take besides when I was a kid n tried..... But so when she's ready , what exactly do I have to do , it sounds stupid but what is curing n then harvesting..... When she's ready, do I just cut the shoots with buds n hang them upsid down to dry em or is it alot more complicated, please help me and any advice on what Ta do when she's ready .

thanx man , def helps n what do I do once I harvest n cut my shoots off, do I hang em upside down in the dark or light , I basically never harvested, always had friends I grew with but never was around to see what Ta do once It gets to harvest.... So once my plant is ready ,what do I do after I pull the shoots off my plant ?

Tiger - there's a good chance you're not going to get the answer you're looking for here in this thread because these questions have been answered thousands of times here in these forums. All you have to do is read, and the best place to start with your current question is the section labeled - HARVESTING AND CURING. Do you see the first 3 posts labeled "A Perfect Cure Everytime", "Trichomes and Harvesting" and "Harvest Time" a Tutorial" - they are there to make it easy for you to find your answers.

Look dude all you need to know is keep the harvested buds out of the sun and any extreme temps. Feel the buds everyday and when the start to feel dry put them in a jar. Keep an eye on them and if they feel wet let them sit out for a hour or two and put them back in the jar. After a week of sweating them out you should be in good shape. Let them sit for another week or 2 in the jar and then smoke your harvest. Good Luck Dude

thanx bro, everyone has these crazy ways that I just dnt get it cuz its contradictions in the thread, thanx for simpleizeing it for me
