hello all, I was wondering when I should move my fresh seedlings out of these pots.

http://www.annabellesangels.com/2 inch terra cotta votive candle holders.JPG

This isnt exactly them, it was just chosen to represent size.... They just recently sprouted after germiniation and have the cotyledon attached. Im not planning on vegging them to long but I was just wondering when do you think the roots will exceed the case..

and also if the roots have no more space, obviously the plant cant grow any taller, will this be a problem for me? any advice would be great thx.

Or, as I do it (because all my starts go into a little Dixie cup), when they start falling over from the wind. :)

Smokeh, when I was a little girl I was afraid of the Cookie Monster. I thought Oscar the Grouch was alright, but the Cookie Monster was not to be trusted!

He IS! But, why my affinity for Oscar the Grouch? Even when I was a kid I thought that was a little off.

Hey goodies..

In the future.. it is really simple to star your seedlings in rockwool cubs. and then as soo as they germinate.. you can stick them in their permanent home (container)

no further transplanting needed..

I think most kids feel sorry for Oscar The Grouch because he lives in a garbage can. No matter how bad things get - somebody is always worse off.
