Why the fuck do we have to deal with all this SPAM ??
This is getting worse everyday. Almost not worth hanging anymore.
 
Eliminating spam is easier said than done. From my experience with the forums I have run now and in the past I have learned it really takes some creativity and MODS with a lot of free time to help with continual cleanup and banning.
 
One way to help eliminate is to not allow postings, or very limited numbers of posts, until they have been a member a while.

Yes, there are a few spam posts that show up. Maybe 10 or even 20 posts can be seen by the members. However, our spam filter catches over 90 percent of them, and those posts don't show up for the members. So if you see 10 spam posts, there are also 200 others posted that you don't see.

And the spam posts that you see are deleted within a few hours.

Thanks for clicking on Report Post when you see one, that helps us to delete it sooner.

So y dont you guys bring on a few more moderators im sure some people on here would love to help just sign on the ones with seniority
 
I personally have had the opportunity to chat with a couple mods, and it has been stated that, despite the spam we DO see, there IS a bunch that they catch and stop before it ever hits our view.
 
Why not a spam button...so many hits and wham, its suspended out of view until a mod assesses it.
