Where can i get the Y connector things?

I see many people using those Y connector things, the one u connect two bulbs and plug it into a power outlet. I was wondering where i can get them for cheap. i searched all over today and finally found them at home depot but its actually in two pieces like the Y connector is suppose to plug into a lamp but they have an adapter to plug into the outlet. both pieces will cost $7. can anyone help?

I dont condone it, but if u cant afford 7 bux, this may be the only way..

also , $7!?!?!?!?! they are ripping you people off wherever u live.. I paid like 60 CENTS for those things..

Have you checked Walmart? The one here sells the Y connector for $1 and the plugin adapter for $1 too.

ya i have checked walmart. yes i am broke and $7 is pretty expensive... where did u guys get yours for so cheap?

you guys obviously posted a reply before you even read what he said.

relik, your looking at 2 seperate things. The y splitter is usually 2 - 2.5 and the thing the bulb socket screws into then plugs into the wall is 2 - 2.5.

There may be something selling together but i believe this is what most do.

looking at the post above ^^^^^ i guess i just repeated what he said :)

the Wal-Mart where i am has a Surge Protector 2-Pack, 6 outlets ea. for $5.97, the outlet to socket adapters are 1.24, Y-Splitters are 1.88, for 24.69 you can make 2- 6 outlet light fixtures, thats 12 CFL's, enough for for a good grow.

I just went to Home Depot a few days ago and they were both 2 dollars. The y splitters, and the light socket to power outlet adapters.

Walmart had the Y's for a few cents cheaper but not light socket to power outlet adapters.

And Ace hardware sold the Y's for almost 3 bucks.
