where do you buy your jars?

whatup guys, wondering where i can buy jars?

good jars. but not too expensive. i live in the metropolitan area of Los Angeles so if it's a chain it's most definitely here. thx for the input. going tomorrow. thx for the help!

you can get a box of like 12 jars from smart and final for 7 dollars or you can go to micheals arts and crafts and buy them seperate for sure

what kind are the best , the screw on lid, kind used for canning, or the kind that have an attached glass lid with a wire latch, help fast!

I got my latch top jars at WallMart and they were only a few dollars each. I got the size that holds about 3 ounces.

I have trouble with the wire latch jars, so I bought & use the regular big mouth canning jars. Next stop is a 5 gal plastic painter's bucket, to dry/ cure in a couple days before canning. Check to dollar stores, they were a little cheaper than Walmart.

huh cool yea i was thinking of getting those latch jars but people have had some problems...

and people talk about turning over the jars while your curing? that why rolling jars a are good?

also, anybody have any luck with those pumps that take air outta jar so you don't have to continually burp em?

Check out your local crafts store, they have self sealing jars for candle makers, they are like the jars here: 420 Science - Home of 420 Jars and 420 Scope but are a fraction of the price.

Mason jars work just fine.

They are a steal at Wal-Mart, but you must enter the belly of the beast to get them. Make sure you wear Spandex, then you will blend right in.

nice torture, that's what i was going for when i was thinking of jars, i like the latch system. how much will those jars hold, btw? i got 12 pint jars so it's a little more work but i don't plan on having much weed around so all good

got mine from B&M. 99p each. holds quite abit. air tight with seal around the top and a clip to make sure its air tight. great value.

whoa nice avatar. mmm. yea i went to smart&final picked up a 12pack of Kerr pint jars, probably could use some larger ones but i'm not gonna have much weight from my first grow, so it's all good.

anybody ever use those vacuum air sealer things for jars so you don't have to burp every day?

I think you guys are putting to much into the Mason Jar issue. It's all a matter of personal preference if you ask me. Whether it be a wire latch top, or a mason jar. It truly matter very little as they both work adequately. I myself have both types. For me they are about equal. I think it depends on my mood. They both work just fine.
