You may say that. I watched the spiritualist Dr. Wayne Dyer last night and found myself in exactly the predicament he was describing. It may only be a short term awakening as I've had many, but enjoy it while it's here. I once suscribed to the book the power of positive thinking by N.V.Peale. Surprisingly enough, good things started coming my way. I'm a wee bit more jaded now. Have had many negative experiences (brought on by myself of course) and may be looking for some peace to last my short time left on earth. I've no diseases or anything but realize that I'm in the sunset years and nothing lasts forever. The thing he said that impressed me was that we are spirit in a human body, not humans with a spirit. I'm still trying to absorb that. we were born a spirit and all the bullshit we've encountered has worn us down and we need to remember we are spirit. Easier said than done. BTW on your people thingy, There are people that have no chance of ever getting to where you are, or even to where I am financially. It's like your freedom to do what you want with your money thing doesnt really matter if you have none or just barely enough to get by. I'm thinking that you have been so long past destitute that you have no recollection. There are many people in this country that don't get 3 squares and a cot. To piss and moan about the pittance the government takes is well, I'll leave it at that. There are a lot more important things than our tax bills.Damn! I'm on board with you Med ... really.
Be honest ... was this a spiritual experience?

PS: But contrary to your belief, and I submit this to you respectfully, I am for people as well. I'm for people having control of their lives and their destinies instead of government bureaucrats and politicians being in control.
