Where is the stoney stuff?

Where in or on the plant is the stuff that actually gets you high? I believe it is in the resin glands but am not positive. I am in an argument with a friend that puts his stash in a grinder and I tell him he is ruining the potency of his weed. He says no, BUT says the stuff at the bottom RESIN gets his super stoned. Any thoughts?

The stoney stuff (lol) is in the trichomes. They grow on the outer surface of the plant. Search the forum or google it, you can find quite a few pics of them.:leaf:

Yeah, the trichomes are where the magic is made. That's why when he smokes the collected trichomes caught at the bottom of his grinder he gets more high.
