where should i dry?

So I have a dilemma. Eventually I will harvest, but I dont have too many places to dry. I always heard 70-80 degrees is good for drying and keep in a dark area. So, that leaves me with 2 places around my house: crawlspace and attic. But If I put it in the attic, wouldnt it stink up the whole house? Cuz to get to the attic you just push up a board in the cieling in the hallway ( i have a small ass house) and boom! there u are in the attic. I cant be having the house reakin of reefer cuz of snoopy guests. And the crawlspace is under the house, and there is no flooring, just dirt. And it gets really moist under there.

So, unless this friend I have talked to gives me a space to dry in, then would it be OK to hang the bud from wires in a big cardboard box and put that under the house?
