Digikey has the 18s in stock and ready to ship for 10.75, but I can't believe they are the cheapest. I'll be looking for about 25 of them if that makes a difference.
So Digikey is indeed the cheapest source?
They're not solderless though and also require a holder.Just grab the v22s from digikey for $15. Better efficiency than the Vero 18. Not quite as good as the 29 I think but still great for our purposes.

I solder anyway with my veros as it save me whatever $7 bucks on the connectors and I'm good on soldering. I also do the thermal compound/tape method rather than drilling and tapping, so other than making the cobs take up more space than they have to, the holders are useless. They're not solderless though and also require a holder.
The pico ezzmate thingie you can buy with the veros is quite convenient and you don't need a holder for them
