hi guys i will harvest today and i wanna store my weed for about 2 months but i wanna keep them fresh.I have heard that the best way to keep weed fresh is to put it into the freezer with ice. I am thinking of putting my weed into 2 sealed bags and then put the sealed bags into water bottles and then freeze the bottles as i wanna hide them into the freezer(As i dont want to store weed into sealed jars cause last time i stored my weed into jars for 2 months, it was totally destroyed no THC and smell remained) . WHat do you think?

I think you may not have dried/cured properly. Glass canning jars are pretty much the standard for storing pot.

use glass! what did it smell like last time?dont wanna put words in ur mouth but did it smell like grass clippings and hay?

Dried and cured correctly, glass is simply the best. 2 months in a jar and it is just getting good. An old saying comes to mind "don't blame the tool for a lack of skill"

what are the negative aspects of what i said? ,well last time it had totally no smell after 2 months , well maybe this time i will store the weed that i will buy( i am not sure if it is fresh or not) but i am not sure if it remains fresh after that long and please tell what i have to do exactly to keep it fresh cause i will buy many weed and i dont wanna waste it(tell me about moisture degress etc)...Thank you!

The easy part is over now the work starts.
Harvest-dry-cure,there is a very good sticky on it,read that.
Good Luck

If it's dried and cured properly in glass jars it should have gotten beter after two months, I've had some in jars for more than 2 years and it still smelled great and smoked great too, hate to say it but you must of done something wrong.

1- the THC gone not because you stored them in glass jars its the light who absorbed them
2 - before storing them you must make sure that they all dried and cured well with fresh air daily
if you did that you can store them in glass vacuum jars for a year and for sure it will smell great and taste great but stay away from lights during storing period
