Which Areogarden Model?

Hi

I'm about to start on my Aerogarden project!

I've been doing some research, and although I know I still have more planning to do, I am anxious to just buy the AeroGarden itself so I see what I'm working with as far as lights, my space needed for set up, the Airstone size I need, etc.

I went to Aerogarden.com and I only see the Pro100 and the Extra Elite which have the 7 pods. I figure I need the 7 pods so I can start like 5-7 plants, then narrow down to the best 3 females I have once I know their sex.

I keep seeing stuff about getting the Pro 200 or the Deluxe. Looks like I can only find those on ebay.

Would some experienced folks mind giving their input on if the Pro100 or the Extra Elite are ok....or do I really need to get the 200 or the Delux.

Pro 100 - $119 (cheap!)
Eliete - $169 (seems normal pricing)

I'm pretty sure the more expensive, the better the lights and height of the hood...but i personally took the cheap route and bought the space saver 6 for 40 dollars lol...

hell ya. i went with the spacesaver 6 too. They come with an airstone and the light hood is removable. You dont need that many pods anyways, 2 plants is plenty.

yeah my thoughts exactly bruh, for the price of one of the most expensive ones you can buy 3 or 4 space saver 6's lol.

ya it all depends i had a spacesaver but was way to small and now powerfull enuff so i got a pro 200 wit 2x the light power n extends about 4x as much as my other one the spacesaver is great for clones thats about it wha u gonna get at max grow space of 16inch lol ya u could get 3 or 4 of them for the price of mine but 3 or 4 might give u the yeild of mine and way more power being used

Cool thanks so much everyone for the help! I ended up ordering a Deluxe. Should be here next week. I was worried about not having enough space on it and it seemed like the Deluxe had plenty.

I just about have the area ready to go...just need to pick up the Airstone and get the Aerogarden now.....

I'll post pics in another new thread...might start a journal because as a first timer, any help is appreciated!
