Which is worse for weight loss, alcohol or weed?

I'm supposed to be getting a new job in a day or so, and plan on trying to curb my heavy drinking (certainly causing weight gain with so many calories of nothingness and sugar) entirely with more frequent cannabis use. As for bad side effects (alcohol makes me pretty damn depressed causes me to eat, and gain weight quickly). With weed, the only negative side effects i get is normally mild to sever paranoia, and cotton mouth. For some reason, I am never really hungry when i smoke, but if another smoker grabs the bag of chips, after the first bite its on...

What are you guy's opinions on this topic? Has weed smoking instead of drinking helped any one here loose weight? The only down side i hate is my paranoia can get really sever if my mind is not focused on something and begins to wander to the dark side on its own. lol

Thoughts? I think I may record my results in detail, and see if i can be a test subject of sorts if it goes as planned. lol

I smoke a bunch of weed and eat a bunch of garbage, but no matter what I eat and how much, I do not gain weight. I use to drink alot of beer and really cut down when I noticed stretch marks around my groin area making my ass stomach and thighs fat.

whenever you feel hungry smoke another doobie its calorie free
you need to find a real nice sweet tasting strain that is not so potent so you do not get para
why not look at those cbd strains

I've never had weight issues so I don't know what to tell you. I don't drink soda, eat candy, don't eat a lot of meat, and eat a lot of veggies. The only thing I really drink is water, tea, or coffee. I've always stayed at 135 lbs that way.

My left foot weighs more than 135lbs.

As far as the OP, alcohol is much worse for weight loss. You can eat veggies/low fat snacks when you get the munchies, but you're always going to get empty calories with alcohol.

I drink pop every now and then but I've been 175 since high school. may up go up or down few pounds, but I rarely watch what I eat. I guess I never had to.

This is a pretty tricky subject for the forum man.
All I could say is you should be able to do whatever you want "in moderation".
I'm fat, so I feel your pain. I don't drink anymore, but my body hasn't changed because of it.
When I get high now I only eat fruit or veggies.
Good luck with your new Job!! And loosing weight!

Weed is better for weight loss for me. Alcohol just makes me want to sit and drink beer and eat chips, fries, salsa, cheese, etc. Weed sometimes makes me want to be healthier if I focus on it.

One way to stop paranoia: Recognize it, then let it go and think of something else. Don't mentally try to hide from it, tell yourself to lighten up, nobody is going to come arrest you because you smoked that joint.

When I was younger after I smoked I'd wash my face and hands, maybe change my shirt, put clear eyes in my eyes to get rid of the redness. It actually helped me feel a little better knowing someone could walk right in and not know I was stoned as fuck. Later I realized I didn't care that much about what others thought. That killed the rest of the paranoia 99% of the time. Every once in a while something will happen and I'll get all paranoid until I stop myself and laugh it off. It really is a just mindset, you can control it with practice.

I stopped smoking weed for a year, I gained 35 pounds. I started back up, dropped 20. Stopped for another year, put back on 25.

Correlation ain't causation, but I'm damn sure looking to harvesting my first crop and dropping below 200lbs again.
