which light would give me the best results?

I am planning a 2 or maybe a 3 plant scrog grow. I will be growing in a 48x24x60 tent. My question is which light would yield better for me? I have seen a 4ft x 8bulb T5 which is 432 watts. I have also seen a 400 watt HPS/MH light. So for wattage and coverage in that size tent, what would you suggest? I want some opinions before I start spending money on lights.

HPS is a point source that tosses a fair amount of heat. OK if you live in cold climate, but not in the south where you would have to spend extra money to vent the heat

I get great results with my 8 bulb 432w hot5, but tubes only last about one year of constant growing, and quality tubes are costly, ~ $200 per retube per year

Today's leds A 51 (190w), are ~ $500,and cover 2 x 3, but leds should last minimum of 5 years of constant use. Don't let the watts fool you, they are potent

if you've got the bread, try the indagro par 420 induction! pricey but my girls seem to be enjoying their rays!

Id put 2 400 cooltubes in there with 2 plants or else get a light mover, and im as far south as you can get in the continental US, it was 87 today, cooling is easy, you are going to need a carbon filter anyways so get a 4" inline fan/filter combo and duct it out of the room, no more heat. Single plant scrogs under 400s do really well, google it and you will see several. If you do 1 stationary light the outside 12" on each side wont get enough light, if you want 1 stationary light use a T5 but ul get less of a yield

The plain and simple in black and white...

HID's (HPS,MH,CMH) are the best overall because of canopy penetration, footprint, and lumens per watt.

T5's are good because of footprint.

HID's just shit on any other type of lighting....PERIOD!

A 250w HID is good for about 2 feet max of canopy penetration (1' to 1.5' optimally)

A 400w HID is good for about 3' max of canopy penetration (2' to 2.5' optimally)

A 600w HID is good for about 4' max canopy penetration (2.5' to 3' optimally)

And a 1000w HID is good for about 5' max canopy penetration (3' to 4' optimally).

Invers square lumen law...

Every foot from the bulb a plant is,the lights intensity becomes less...

Look it up.
